Finally in America, Plenty of Surprises to be Found in the 2018 Audi RS3

This year’s Geneva Motor Show was the site of a surprise for American enthusiasts—the unveiling of the new 2018 Audi RS3, and the news that it would arrive in the U.S. After years of pining, it was the realization of a dream. But as fate would have it, the changes that came with the updated car made it better than the one we first saw in 2010.

It still has the 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five, but with some changes. Weight savings of 57 pounds, achieved by replacing the old iron block with a lighter aluminum one, and an increase in power to 400 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque being the most noticeable. With launch control, that enables the RS3 to hit sixty in 3.9 seconds. A seven-speed DCT sends power to a rear-biased Quattro all-wheel drive system, with variable magnetic ride dampers, both enabling smooth shifting and corner-hugging performance.

In spite of being demonically quick, the 2018 RS3 will also make a keen daily driver. To explore ordering one in your spec, contact our Audi dealership in Hampton, VA. We’d be happy to assist you in making this exciting car your own.
